thoughts. B.
It took me a while to warm up to Nana Mizuki because she is one of those seiyuu singers that I see in a different light from say… Maaya Sakamoto and even Megumi Hayashibara. It’s just straight animu with her. That’s all I hear; anime themes or insert songs (more so later in her career then with this album). Supersonic Girl is pretty light compared to her current albums, where the songs are more heavy, experimental and complicated. This album is more on the cutesy-semi-serious-ballad side with this debut. It’s not very memorable, but it’s not a bad debut and Nana’s voice is surprisingly good to be a seiyuu singer. As in very mature. I think out of all the seiyuu singers I listen to, she possibly has the best voice in terms of range.

  • favorite track – NANA iro no youni -Special album version-
    least favorite track – TRANSMIGRATION
guilty pleasure track – Love’s Wonderland
under-rated track – WINDOW OF HEART
