In Your Arms
Skool of AH
Ayaka Hirahara is one of those artists I find myself going back and forth with because despite her having a good voice she can be pretty bland to me. The problem I have with this album (and perhaps only this album in Hirahara’s case) is how dull it is. It’s not dull in a bad way like ayaka’s First Message, but in a nothing really stands out and grabs my attention kind of way. Honestly, if it weren’t for Jupiter this album would be nearly forgettable. Hirahara’s debut is more on the weak side. It’s like Namie’s Sweet 19 Blues (which will be reviewed later, as I’m going in alphabetical order), it’s just there and the potential wasn’t quite met.
